Support

Last updated 4 September 2026

Email support@accentuatevoices.com — a real person reads every message. You can also open Profile in the app and tap Send feedback; it lands in the same inbox either way.

Audio and microphone

I can't hear anything

First, check the silent switch on the side of an iPhone or iPad — the app has no way to detect or override it, so if it's flipped to silent, playback stays silent too. Then check your volume, and make sure audio isn't being routed to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones you're not wearing.

The microphone isn't working

The app needs microphone permission to score you. If you declined the prompt:

  • iPhone or iPad app: Settings → Accentuate → Microphone.
  • Safari: Settings → Safari → Microphone, or tap the address bar and check the site's permissions.
  • Chrome or Edge: click the padlock in the address bar → Microphone → Allow, then reload.

If permission is granted and recording still fails, tell us what device and browser you are using. Include the app or browser version if you know it.

Sessions and progress

I've run out of sessions for today

The free tier includes 20 sessions a day during your first week and 8 sessions a day after that. The allowance resets at midnight in your time zone. A subscription removes the daily cap.

My progress is missing on a different device

Progress is saved to your account, so signing in on another device should bring it with you. If it does not, check that both devices use the same email address. If the addresses match, contact support and we will investigate.

A reference clip sounds wrong

Tap Not quite on the card to report that clip. The reference voices are generated ahead of time, and reports help us find clips that need to be replaced.

Subscriptions and refunds

Managing or cancelling

  • Subscribed on the web: Profile → Account settings → Manage subscription.
  • Subscribed through the App Store: manage it in the Settings app on your device, under your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Apple handles billing for those, so we cannot cancel or refund them for you.

Refunds

For web subscriptions, ask us and we will sort it out. For App Store subscriptions, Apple handles refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your account and your data

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time: Profile → Account settings → Delete account. That works in the iPhone app, the Android app, and on the web — sign in at app.accentuatevoices.com if you no longer have the app installed. Or email support@accentuatevoices.com from your account's address and we'll delete it for you.

Deletion removes your account, your practice history and progress, and your subscription records with us. Analytics and error reports not tied to a deleted account are kept only while useful for fixing bugs. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel that subscription with Apple or Google first — deleting your account here doesn't stop their billing.

Want some of your data deleted — your practice history and progress, say — but keep your account? Email support@accentuatevoices.com from your account's address and tell us what to remove. We'll confirm once it's done.

Recordings are processed for scoring and then discarded. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Still stuck?

Email support@accentuatevoices.com and tell us what device you're on, which app or browser version, and what you were doing when it went wrong — the more specific, the faster we can fix it. Please don't send a password or card number; we'll never ask for either.
